As both me and my wife working full time, we did not have much time to focus on our house renovation. Luckily we had a good ID, who is really committed to the renovation of the house. We receive updates on the renovation 3-4 times a week, with pictures of the house.
The quality of materials, and the design of our house is very modern, and very comfortable, all who came for the house warming is full of praise of our house.
For the price we are paying, i will say we are being offered a value added service, as compared to other firms.

Ken was super responsive on whatsapp, he replies as long as he is free. Pick up calls so long as he isn't in meeting. (Of cuz, please don't call him during midnight la 😂) Travel down often to check our home like it's his own home during renovation. Sends us picture updates frequently. Rectify problem he finds or if he thinks is not up to standard on his own without us telling him to. Will send people down to fix minor problem we find after moving in. Good after sales service. We can tell Ken is also very experienced in his work through answering our questions regarding home renovation. He also gives good suggestion on what kind of materials is suitable and color schemes for tiles and our carpentry. Will definitely recommend any one looking for a professional ID. Ken was sincere, trustworthy and a very reliable interior designer. Looking for a designer for the renovation of my place of residence was tough as it was a condominium and therefore prices were high to begin with. For ken, he proposed reasonable furnishings and designs in order to fit what we wanted in the best possible budget. We had drawings reviewed and changed along the way and he was always willing and open to the modifications required.
His adherence to timeline was pinpoint and despite the shortage of labour during my renovation due to covid last year, completion was still on time. Carpentry workmanship was satisfactory and he maintained the highest standards of service by his prompt replies whenever clarifications/rectifications were needed.
Ken was also able to manage the neighbours and his contractors well. We had neighbours who complained excessively and he would help to manage them by improving the conditions.
During tiles selection with him as a guide , we were able to achieve the design and cost that we targeted. He explained about the prices of tiles and how it fits with the design theme we had very well for us to make an informed choice.
Overall, the experience with Ken was rewarding. A humble and reliable designer, i will definitely recommend visiting and chatting with him.

The Interior designer Mr. Myllus Bong is one of the best amongst all renovation contractors I have ever met. A very responsible, prompt, confident and quality driven designer who aims to deliver beyond expectations.
I am happy and satisfied throughout the entire renovation process, not only the final renovation outcome but also the progress, the schedule was well arranged and things did crop up along the way but were speedily resolved.

Met up with Mr. Ken and he was one of the very few who doesn't try hard to sell his services to me, instead he listens to what I have in mind, asked very good questions to find out more about what I want and most importantly identifying what are my priorities and needs based on the budget allocated. Being first-time home owners, we contacted Ken after noticing several positive reviews in the Budget Reno Facebook page. One month after our reno journey has ended, my wife and I were very impressed as Ken had surpassed all our expectations!
#1 One of his key strength is responsiveness and reliability. As we were both busy at work most of the time, Ken constantly kept us updated about the renovation progress and reassured us by sending us photos of the progress on a regular basis. We trusted him so much that we only stepped into our unit 3 times during the entire reno process. He has been responsive throughout the period, from the time we first signed contract, all the way till now, where he is still responding to our queries after we had moved in.
#2 Next he is very sincere, honest and realistic. He made sure to provide us practical advice on home design. His sincerity and realism shone through when he advised us even before we signed a contact that there is no 'perfect' renovation and there would be some minor hiccups here and there. He did assure us that regardless, it was his responsibility to help us solve and correct issues. True to his words, he always helped to troubleshoot and propose workarounds when minor hiccups arose. That being said, he exceeded our expectations, judging from how very smooth and fuss-free our reno process has been!
#3 Most importantly, he managed to build a strong rapport with us. What first started out as a typical client-vendor relationship evolved into much more as we continued to keep in touch as friends. From our personal experience, there are many capable IDs out there who can assure good value and workmanship. However we realized that the ability to share your ideas and concerns freely with your ID is even more important and Ken truly shine in this aspect due to his sincerity and down-to-earth nature.
As first-time home owners, we did not know what to expect and felt lost most of the time. However Ken was able to guide us to achieve our dream home with his experience and patience. Hence, we strongly recommend Ken as an ID, especially to first-time home owners.
